Newedge Prime Brokerage Group offers a complete range of global prime brokerage activities including execution, clearing, settlement, custody, financing and reporting of multi asset, multi instrument portfolios. Asset classes covered include equities, bonds, currencies, commodities and their related listed and OTC derivative products, such as listed futures and options, forwards, CFDs and swaps traded on a worldwide basis.

Furthermore Newedge Prime Brokerage has established an innovative cross-asset, cross-instrument portfolio margining methodology, combining cash and derivative products; consolidated reporting; sales and trading teams organized by specific hedge fund strategy; a dedicated management team focused on customer needs; a global capital introduction team; and also offers hedge fund start-up services.

The Prime Brokerage Group is part of Newedge Group, which employs over 3000 people in 26 market places, and is a member of over 75 derivatives exchanges and 23 stock exchanges worldwide. Although independently managed and regulated, Newedge Group is a wholly owned 50/50 subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group and Calyon, which allows Newedge Prime Brokerage Group to leverage through the various capabilities of the parent companies, including structured products such as equity-linked derivatives, structured notes and other customized institutional derivative products.
